Thank you for choosing Golden Arowana™ Engineered Hardwood! You have selected one of the highest quality engineered hardwood floors available. Our engineered flooring is a combination of the best natural materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. It features multiple layers of wood bonded together with an E0 emission compliant adhesive and cross-ply lamination to provide better stability with regard to expansion & contraction. The surface layer is designed to be refinished up to 3 times (depending on depth of sanding), even though it is unlikely that this will ever be necessary. Our Treffert™ acrylated urethane finish with aluminum oxide consists of 13 layers of finish, and represents the most durable finish we have ever offered.
Our Engineered Hardwood Flooring is one of the most versatile hardwood floorings made. It can be installed on, above, or below grade. And unlike solid hardwood, this product is suitable for installation in basements (below grade) when installed as a floating floor. Versatility also includes the ability to install this product with all the conventional methods: nail/stable, glue, and floating methods.
The quality of this product speaks for itself: multiple cross-laminated layers for superior stability, even in the most demanding circumstances, such as basements. The strict E0 compliant emission standard for the adhesive used between the various layers is one of the most demanding standards for indoor air quality (IAQ) with regard to VOC emissions such as formaldehyde. Simply put, you are exposed to higher levels of formaldehyde in your home or outdoors, than you will be exposed to in your home from our product.
